Les Terres de MasLauris Rose.

Lauris' originals

The wines of our "Les Terres de MasLauris" range draw their energy and their taste from their Provencal environment. Those wines are the worthy reflection of our lands in Luberon. The three colors of Les Terres de MasLauris are generous and accessible wines. This is the result of meticulous and delicate work in the vineyard and winery.

Vintage : 2023, a well-balanced vintage. After a winter without a drop of water and a begining of spring not much more watered, putting the vines under pressure during their winter awakening, the rains finally arrived at the beginning of May. These late rains made the first work in the vines a little more complicated than usually, but also helped to recharge soils, thus promoting the development of the vines and their grapes. Summer was also well

balanced, with warm sunny days and cool nights. September and its harvest... Beautiful days, cool nights and homogeneous ripeness allowed us to manage our harvest without constraints. 2023 is a vintage marked by the freshness of our white and rosé wines, and the lovely balance of fruit and substance in our reds.

THE WINEMAKING
PDO Luberon- Organic Wine

Grape varieties: Cinsault 55%, Grenache 45%

Soil: Sandy loam and gravel

Climate: Land parcels located at 300 meters altitude at the foot of the Luberon mountains. In summer, the microclimate allows Maslauris grapevines to benefit from cool nights which reduce the heat of the day. The presence of the Mistral wind, which is active year-round, plays a key role in the irreproachable healthy state of our grapes. These different factors bring subtlety to our matured grapes and lively to the wine.

Grapevines: Our vines are certified organic, harvested by hand with the strictest rigor, very early in the morning using headlamps, in order to bring the grapes in cold and thereby preserve their integrity.

Vinification: Reception of the harvested grapes is made using a gravity-based structure and juice extraction is carried out using a delicate and progressive pressing. Cold stabilization before the organic certified alcoholic fermentation.

Ageing: In stainless steel tanks, on fine lees for 4 months. Bottled at the end of winter, respecting the lunar calendar to preserve the maximum aromatic potential.

Alcohol level: 13% vol.

THE TASTING

Eye: A delicate wine with a very pale pink robe.

Nose: The lively nose reveals its elegance with hints of exotic fruits and light berries.

Palate: The palate reflects the aromatic richness of the nose, balanced with wonderful acidity which brings a graceful structure and liveliness to the wine. The finish is luscious and expressive.

Pairings : Ideal for apetizers but also with light meals, salads, grilled meats and, in general, with Provencal cuisine.
